Families United

Families United is a non-profit 501(c)3 community organization established to educate and uplift family's. Families United is dedicated to reaching and empowering the modern family. We are committed to serving and providing Healthy Relationship Educational Programs in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, East St. Louis region and across the country. Programs sponsored by Families United will help strengthen and empower the family by providing educational opportunities to youth and families that promote healthy relationship skills, parenting skills, conflict resolution, job readiness and financial fitness. In 2014 Families United launched the Healthy Families Initiative. Hosted healthy marriage/relationship conferences and retreats in the St. Louis region serving thousands of families. Additionally, HFI conducted the following workshops and seminars: Marriage and Healthy Relationships Skills, Youth Development, Family and Economic Empowerment and Winning the Workplace Challenges. Families United is dedicated and committed to reaching, building, communicating, and succeeding family's. It is the ultimate goal of Families United to reach out to every diverse segment of the community to foster a spirit of community development and improvement. Our desire, with Families United is to have an ongoing positive effect on all families reached.

Families United programs provides an array of services to enhance the skill sets required to enhance healthier families.

Youth Programs
Youth for the Future program(YFF) provides support and encouragement for young people at a most critical time of their life. Youth for the Future (YFF) is customized for youth ages 12-17, which provides activities such as math and science projects, book reading clubs, tutoring and mentoring, camping, retreats, financial fitness, team building and healthy relationships workshops.

Adult Programs
Healthy Marriage/Relationship for Adults 18 up:
Families United helps individuals and couples to develop skills and knowledge needed to form and sustain healthy marriage/relationships. The program offers a sequence of sessions, workshops, mini-lectures, seminars, discussions and classroom participation that is fun and interactive. Individuals will learn interpersonal skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, preserve and enhance commitments towards a healthier lifestyle. Families United will equip individuals with a knowledge base skills for developing successful relationships.
