The Hi-Pointe Theatre is a truly special St. Louis institution. It's purpose is to be EVERYONE'S favorite theatre by offering affordable, innovative, and diverse offerings so that there is a reason for everyone to join together and see films in person.
This Give STL Day, I’m joining Cinema St. Louis in supporting 35 for 35—a campaign to raise $35,000 to preserve and celebrate 35mm film at the historic Hi-Pointe Theatre.
Why 35mm? Because it's more than just a format—it's a living, breathing part of cinema history. Every flicker of light, every reel change, every grain of film carries the magic of how movies were meant to be seen.
