Miles Toward Independence
More Miles Means More Possibilities

Every day at The Center for Autism Education (CAE), we work to build independence — not just in the classroom, but out in the real world where it matters most.

Our Miles Toward Independence campaign is an opportunity for you to invest in that journey.

We are raising funds to purchase two new multi-passenger, ADA-friendly vans that will safely transport the children and adults we serve into the community — where real growth, confidence, and connection happen.

Why Your Support Matters

For many of the individuals we serve, driving isn’t an option. Without reliable transportation, access to everyday experiences — like going to the grocery store, volunteering, or participating in job training — can be limited.

Your investment changes that.

With dependable vans, our participants can:

  • Practice real-world life skills
  • Access volunteer and job training opportunities
  • Build social connections and confidence
  • Experience their community in meaningful, inclusive ways

Who You’re Supporting

Your gift directly impacts individuals across both of our programs:

  • Students (K–12): gaining hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for life beyond school
  • Adults (18+): building independence through community involvement, skill development, and social engagement

The Impact of Every Mile

Transportation is more than a ride — it’s access, opportunity, and independence.

When you support Miles Toward Independence, you’re not just helping us purchase vans. You’re helping create moments of growth, confidence, and connection that last a lifetime.

Join us in driving independence forward.
Make your investment today and help open the door to more possibilities — one mile at a time.
