After moving to St. Louis in 2025, I looked for a way to plant roots and connect with my new home outside of work. I wanted a community where I could truly give back, which led me to the Gateway Disabled Ski Program (GDSP).

What I didn’t expect was how much this program would give back to me. GDSP creates a powerful sense of belonging, not only for our incredible athletes but for our volunteers as well. It’s a place where barriers are replaced by confidence and a shared passion for skiing and snowboarding.

As we gear up for Give STL Day, I’m asking for your help to keep our athletes on the snow. Your donations go directly toward:

  • Adaptive Equipment: Purchasing specialized gear like sit skis, outriggers, and tethers.

  • Volunteer Training: Funding the expert training our team needs to provide safe, high-quality instruction.

  • Program Essentials: Covering insurance and providing meals to keep our athletes and volunteers fueled during long days on the slopes.

Whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing this post, you are helping us prove that the slopes belongs to everyone. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
