North County Innovative School (NCIS) is a proposed public charter school designed to serve students and families in North St. Louis County through a healing-centered, innovative approach to education.

At NCIS, we believe that learning and well-being go hand in hand. Our model integrates STREAM education (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with strong mental health supports, hands-on learning experiences, and a culturally affirming school environment.

We are preparing to launch in Fall 2027, beginning with PreK–2nd grade, with plans to grow into a full PreK–8 campus. Our students will engage in:

  • Project-based STREAM learning
  • Social-emotional development and wellness support
  • Agricultural and outdoor education experiences
  • Creative arts through music, dance, and visual expression

North County families deserve access to high-quality, innovative educational options right in their community. NCIS is being built to meet that need.

Your support on Give STL Day helps us:

  • Build and prepare our future school campus
  • Launch pilot programs like our Learning Lab and STREAM experiences
  • Expand community outreach and family engagement
  • Lay the foundation for a school where innovation meets care

Together, we are not just opening a school, we are creating a space for healing, growth, and opportunity.
