Every night in Lincoln County, neighbors face homelessness with nowhere safe to go. Families sleep in cars. Workers try to hold onto jobs while living in unstable situations. Children go to school without knowing where they will sleep that night.
Bridge of Hope exists so that no one in our community has to face homelessness alone.
Bridge of Hope Lincoln County is the only emergency homeless shelter in Lincoln County, providing safe shelter, meals, showers, laundry, and personalized case management to help individuals and families rebuild stability and move toward permanent housing.
Since opening our doors in April 2024, the need has been real, and the impact has been powerful:
- Over 250 individuals have found safe shelter at Bridge of Hope, including nearly 70 children
- More than 130 people have moved into stable housing or reunited with family
- Over 150 individuals have gained employment
- Hundreds of recovery meetings have been hosted onsite
- Our Resource Center has supported neighbors through:
- 600+ visits
- 500+ showers
- 200+ loads of laundry
- 400+ meals served
Behind every number is a person working to rebuild their life, with the support of a safe place and people who believe in them.
Why Your Gift Matters
Homelessness doesn’t fix itself overnight, but stability begins with safety.
At Bridge of Hope, your donation does more than provide temporary relief. It helps create lasting change by supporting:
- Safe, stable shelter where individuals can sleep without fear
- Clean clothing and hygiene, restoring dignity and confidence
- Case management and goal planning, helping people secure jobs, housing, and resources
- Supportive structure and accountability, proven to help people maintain long-term stability
Research shows that people are more likely to succeed when they have consistent support, safe housing, and structured guidance. That’s exactly what Bridge of Hope provides every day.
The Reality of the Need
Operating an emergency shelter takes more than goodwill, it takes reliable support.
Bridge of Hope operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with an average cost of:
- $1,300 per day to keep our doors open
- Approximately $40,000 per month to provide safe shelter, staffing, and essential services
Donations of supplies help, but financial gifts are what keep the lights on, staff present, and beds available for those who need them most.
