Continuing the vision, Expanding the Impact

After many years of dedicated service, Kathie Thomas, Founder and Executive Director, decided to step down from her role in the spring of 2025. Under her visionary leadership, Hope Creates has grown into a vital resource for our community, and we are deeply grateful for the foundation she has built.

The Board of Directors appointed Julie Fox as Executive Director last May. With 20+ years in the nonprofit sector, she looks forward to building on the foundation Kathie established.

50% MO Youth Opportunity Program Tax Credits

We are privileged to receive a state-sponsored grant program that provides tax credits to donors with a MO tax liability. Donations over $500 are eligible for 50% tax credits which supports our Make Your M.A.R.C. program. Be sure to take advantage of this before they run out!

Fiscal Year Ended 6/30/2025

Thanks to the support of our community, we increased our revenues in 2025 and ended the year at $459,825—fueling more opportunities to serve those in need. Our functional expenses were $446,827; 9% went to fundraising, 15% went to administration, and 76% went to programming.
