Great Rivers Greenway is building a healthier, more connected St. Louis through greenways that invite people to walk, roll, bike, rest, and recharge outdoors. Across St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County, our network includes more than 140 miles of greenways, with new connections taking shape every year.
What we are working on for you:
-
Building and expanding greenways: At any given time, we have 20+ projects underway across the region, in various stages of planning, design, and construction. Today, five greenways are under construction, with many more segments in development. Learn more about current projects at greatriversgreenway.org/plans-and-projects/
-
Restoring nature and strengthening resilience: Through conservation and restoration, greenways create places where plants, animals, and people thrive side by side, improving air and water quality, reducing heat, and supporting healthier neighborhoods. -
Advancing the Brickline Greenway: In the City of St. Louis, we’re moving forward on the Brickline Greenway, connecting Forest Park to the Arch and Tower Grove Park to Fairground Park. This transformative project is guided by a commitment to community engagement, equity, and economic development. Learn more at greatriversgreenway.org/brickline/
Together with supporters, we’re creating everyday places that help St. Louisans LIVE LIFE OUTSIDE, building health, belonging, and connection one greenway at a time.
