Elley's Hope: Caring for Hope, Sharing Love, Building Faith Together for Healing.
Elley’s Hope is a compassionate non-profit born from a deeply personal journey, created to support individuals as they navigate the emotional and physical challenges of healing from trauma. Having experienced firsthand the struggles of navigating the medical system while caring for a loved one, Miranda Malone understands how isolating and overwhelming the recovery process can feel. That's why she founded Elley’s Hope—to be a steadfast partner for those who need support in reclaiming their sense of self.
Our core belief is that healing is possible for everyone, no matter the obstacles they’ve faced. Elley’s Hope is dedicated to helping individuals overcome the visible reminders of their past, whether through branding removal for survivors of human trafficking, gang violence or veterans through laser tattoo removal, or scar camouflaging for cancer survivors, and those recovering from medical, emotional, or addiction-related struggles.
This work is more than a service—it’s about giving people a chance to feel whole again, to look in the mirror and see beyond the marks of trauma. We understand how deeply these physical reminders can impact emotional well-being, and that’s why our approach is rooted in compassion and the belief that every person deserves to heal.
At Elley’s Hope, we’re not just removing tattoos and camouflaging scars; we’re removing barriers to recovery. With every treatment, we aim to offer faith, hope and love, creating a space where healing and renewal can truly begin. 100% of every donation goes directly toward covering the costs of treatments for survivors—ensuring that resources reach those who need them the most.
Miranda wants every person who comes through her doors to know they don’t have to walk this path alone. Together, we can create a future where every survivor is given the tools to heal, thrive, and rise above their past.
Our Why: The Story Behind Elley’s Hope
Shelley Malone’s life was a beacon of hope, her 12-year battle with Parkinson’s serving as a testament to the power of kindness, compassion, and resilience. Despite immense challenges, her unwavering spirit touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact. After her passing on December 4, 2020, her legacy became the inspiration behind Elley’s Hope—a nonprofit dedicated to carrying forward the same generosity and strength that she embodied.
The organization was founded by Shelley’s daughter, Miranda Malone, whose years as a caregiver provided firsthand insight into the harsh realities of the medical system, the isolation that often accompanies illness, and the gaps in support that make healing even more difficult. Through Elley’s Hope, Miranda seeks to offer a path to restoration for those who have endured trauma. By providing branding removal, scar camouflaging, and other restorative procedures, the organization helps individuals reclaim their sense of self and move forward with confidence.
Elley’s Hope stands as a tribute to Shelley’s spirit—a mission to bring light to those who need it most, ensuring that hope, healing, and dignity are accessible to all
