Artist Presentation Society

A concerto/aria competition is held annually for vocalists, pianists, and solo instrumentalists - for artists to age 30, 35 for vocalists.  Two winners are chosen through live auditions in St. Louis and each winner gives  a public performance with a St. Louis orchestra,  and receives a substantial monetary award and travel expenses. 

Artist Presentation Society proudly supports classical musicians in the early stages of their professional careers -  as well as making classical music more accessible to the public, particularly to the younger generation.

Artist Presentation Society boasts a stellar history of showcasing highly accomplished young classical musical artists. In addition to presenting outstanding performances to our St. Louis audiences, APS collaborates with other cultural organizations in order to recognize and promote talented musicians.  Every other year, APS hosts a competition for younger artists (age 13-18) of the Community Music School.  Winners of that competition receive a monetary award and a joint public recital.
